 Description
Irregular Polygon:  A polygon whose interior angles are not equal and/or its sides are not equal in length.
The following figures are examples of irregular polygons. Notice particularly the blue middle figure that although all sides are equal, it is not a regular pentagon since the interior angles are not the same.

All polygons are simple, closed polygonal curves. The word "polygon" derives from the Greek words poly (many) and gonu (knee). So a polygon is a thing with many knees!
