 Description
Abundant Number:  A number in which the sum of all its proper divisors is greater than the number itself.
a number, the sum of whose factors exceeds the number itself. Thus, the sum of 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, the factors of 12, total 16. This is opposed to a deficient number, as 14, whose factors are 1, 2, 7, the sum of which is 10; and to a perfect number, which is equal to the sum of its factors, as 6, whose factors are 1, 2., 3.
