 Description  
 Ordinal Numbers:  A whole number that is used to specify a place or position in the ordered sequence of whole numbers in the set.


In the above picture, the 4th dog has a blue ball. Here, the number 4 is used to indicate which dog has the blue ball, and so 4 is called an ordinal number.
