 Perpendicular Bisector:  A perpendicular line or segment that passes through the midpoint of a segment.

In the triangles below, the lines are perpendicular bisectors because they are perpendicular (indicated by the black square) at the midpoint (indicated by points and ) of a side of the triangle.

 

In any triangle, construct all three perpendicular bisectors. Do they all meet at a single point?
