There are ONLY five regular polyhedra, which are commonly referred to as the
Platonic solids:
This is a tetrahedron, which has four congruent equilateral triangles as its faces.
This is a hexahedron (cube), which has six congruent squares as its faces.
This is an octahedron, which has eight congruent equilateral triangles as its faces.
This is a dodecahedron, which has twelve regular pentagons as its faces.
This is an icosahedron, which has twenty equilateral triangles as its faces.
