 Description  
 Relation:  A rule that gives an output number for every valid input number.

Note: A relation differs from a function in that a function is a special relation that gives a single (i.e., unique) output number for every valid input number.

Examples of relations:

y = 2x

{(1,1),(1,-1),(3,9),(3,-9)}

x + 3y = 4
