 Description
Subtraction Property of Equality:  States that when both sides of an equation have the same number subtracted from them, the remaining expressions are still equal.

For example:

If 5 = 5, then 5 - 2 = 5 - 2.

If 12x = 24x/2, then 12x - 7 = 24x/2 - 7.

If a = b, then a - c = b - c.
