 Quadratic Equation:  An equation of degree 2, which has at most two solutions.

The general form of a quadratic equation is ax2 + bx + c = 0.

For example, 5x2 + 3x + 2 = 0 is a quadratic equation.

The graphs of quadratic equations are called parabolas.
