 Description  
 Skew Lines:  Two lines that do not lie in the same plane (therefore, they cannot be parallel or intersect).

Below is an example of skew lines. Note that the two lines are in planes that are parallel to each other, but the lines themselves are not parallel to each other. There is no way to draw a third plane that contains BOTH of these lines, and so the lines are skew.
