 Multiplication Property of Equality:  States that when both sides of an equation are multiplied by the same number, the remaining expressions are still equal.

For example:

If 5 = 5, then 5 x 2 = 5 x 2.

If 12m = 24m/2, then 12m x 7 = 24m/2 x 7.

If a = b, then ac = bc.
