 Divisible:  One number is divisible by another number if the second number divides "evenly" into the first. That is, when the first number is divided by the second number, there is a remainder of zero.

Dividing students into three teams with an equal amount of people indicates the total number of students is divisible by three. When two of the teams are playing a football game, the number of students is divisible by 11 if everyone is playing at the same time.
