Shanika's class is making sandwiches for the homeless. They have a lot of bread and cheese but do not have much turkey. In fact, they only have 80 pieces of turkey. If the students put 3 pieces of turkey on each sandwich, how many sandwiches can they make? The answer is the quotient for the problem 80 divided by 3, which is 26 2/3. Therefore, they can make 26 sandwiches that have 3 pieces of turkey on them with 2 pieces of turkey leftover.
