 Vertical Angles:  Two nonadjacent angles formed by intersecting lines or segments. Also called opposite angles.
There are four angles formed by the two intersecting arrows in this picture. There are two pairs of vertical angles. The angles opposite from each other are called vertical angles. The angles in a pair of vertical angles are congruent to each other.
