The football team is doing a fundraiser to pay for their new uniforms. If they need 60 uniforms that cost $25 each how much money do they need to raise to pay for the uniforms. The expression x $25*60 can be used to show much money needs to be earned. By multiplying $25*60 we find that x $1,500. This means that the football team needs to raise $1,500 to pay for the new uniforms.
