Constant Term:  A quantity that does not change its value.
A constant describes anything that does not change. If your dog is served the same amount of food each day, then its eating habbits are constant. If you do not miss any school, then your attendance is constant.

A constant term describes an initial amount in an equation. For example, if an object is launched from the ground at an initial height of 2 meters, then the constant term in the equation will be 2 because that starting amount will never change.
