Quadrant: One of the four regions on a Coordinate plane formed by the intersection of the xaxis and the yaxis. 
Axis: A reference line used in a graph or coordinate system.
xaxis: The horizontal number line on the Cartesian coordinate plane.
yaxis: The vertical number line on the Cartesian coordinate plane.
Intersecting Lines: Two lines that cross each other. Lines intersect at one point unless the lines fall directly on top of each other (in which case they are essentially the same line and are sometimes called coincidental).
