Bisect: To cut in half exactly. 
Composite Number: A composite number is a number that has factors in addition to one and itself. Thus, all nonprime numbers are composite numbers.
Divisible: One number is divisible by another number if the second number divides "evenly" into the first. That is, when the first number is divided by the second number, there is a remainder of zero.
Division by Zero: Division by zero is not allowed. See the discussion below for reasons why.
Divisor: A number by which another number is to be divided.
Factor: When two or more integers are multiplied, each integer is a factor of the product. "To factor" means to write the number or term as a product of its factors.
Factorial: The expression n! is a symbol to indicate the product of all counting numbers beginning with n and counting backwards to 1.
Prime Number: A positive number that is divisible only by itself and the
number one.
Product: A number that is the result of multiplication.
Quotient: A number that is the result of division.
Remainder: The number left over when a number cannot be divided "evenly".
