Centroid: The point of intersection of the medians of a triangle. Also, the point in a figure or solid which is the balance point, or center of gravity, of the figure or solid. 
Point of Intersection: The point at which two or more lines intersect (cross).
Median of a Triangle: A segment is a median of a triangle if and only if its endpoints are a vertex of the triangle and the midpoint of the side opposite the vertex.
Triangle: A polygon with three sides.
