Circle:  The set of all points in a plane that are the same distance, called the radius, from a given point, called the center.
 Radius: The distance from the center of a circle to any point on the circle. Also, the line segment that has the center of the circle as one endpoint and a point on the circle as the other endpoint. Diameter: The distance across a circle through its center. The line segment that includes the center and whose endpoints lie on the circle. Arc: Part of a circle; the curve between two points on a circle. Arc, Major: If a circle is divided into two unequal parts, the longer arc is called the major arc. Arc, Minor: If a circle is divided into two unequal parts, the shorter arc is called the minor arc. Center of a Circle: The point inside the circle that is the same distance from all of the points on the circle. Closed Curve: A curve that can be traced using the same starting and stopping points, and without crossing or retracing any part of the curve.
