 Cone:  A three dimensional figure with a circular or elliptical base and one vertex.
Circle: The set of all points in a plane that are the same distance, called the radius, from a given point, called the center.
Base (of a Polygon): For two-dimensional figures, any side can be a base. Typically, however, the bottom side, on which the polygon 'sits,' is called the base.
Vertex of a 3D Object: The point(s) where the edges of a 3D object intersect.
Three-Dimensional Figure: Figures that have length, width, and thickness.
Cylinder: A three dimensional object with two parallel, congruent, circular bases.
Oblique: A three dimensional figure that appears slanted. Also, a triangle that is not a right triangle (i.e., acute or obtuse).
