Counting the Years
Write down the last two digits of the year you were born. Now think of an important event in your life before the year 2000. Add the last two digits of the year that event occurred to the previous number. To that new number, add your age by the end of this calendar year, and the number of years that have passed since the significant event.
How does your final number compare with every one else's final number? (If you are investigating alone, try this process a couple of times with different events.) Explain the results.
