Sharing Cookies

Moe, Larry, and Curly had eight cookies to distribute among themselves. They all will not get the same amount, but they all must get at least one cookie. In how many ways can they distribute the cookies among themselves?


If Harpo joined the three stooges before they figured out this problem and he needed to be included in the distribution of cookies, in how many ways could the cookies be divided?
