The vertex of an angle can appear on, inside, or outside a circle. How does the location and measure of the vertex angle compare with the measure(s) of the arc(s) it intercepts?
1. When the vertex is on the circle, the measure of the inscribed angle is 1/2 the measure of the minor arc.
2. When the vertex is outside the circle, the measure is not 1/2 the measure of the minor arc.
Why: By measuring the angles using Geosketch pad, the measurements proved that when the vertex is outside, the measure of the vertex was not 1/2 the measure of the arc.
