Title
Penning for a Pony

Problem Statement
To make a pen for his new pony, Ted will use an existing fence as one side of the pen. If he has ninety-six meters of fencing, what are the dimensions of the largest rectangular pen he can make?

Plans to Solve/Investigate the Problem

I plan to use a spreadsheet to list possible dimensions for the pen and figure area.  I assumed that the fixed side of fencing is at least 96 meters long.  The pen should be 48 meters by 48 meters for an area of 1152 meters squared.
