A. Participants engage in investigations of Functions

Participants should choose investigations that involve:

- Representations of functions in numerous ways - particularly visually (number lines, tables, lists, scatterplots, etc.);
- Evaluation of functions;
- Determining whether data sets are functions;
- Graphing prototypical functions.
Selected Investigations of Functions for Week 8

- Verbal, graphical, & symbolic representations (Note that all IM investigations can involve various representations)
- Discrete versus Continuous Representations
- Defining and identifying functions
- Graphs of prototypical functions

B. Participants continue to add to online portfolio
