Problem-Using only the number 4 and the four basic operations (+,-,x,/) write all the numbers from 1 to 31.

Using the language of numbers to define numbers in terms of only 4 within the rules for the order of operations, I developed certain numbers that were always defined a certain way.

For example:

=4/4

every time I needed create a number by using one(1), I would substitute my defining term using fours.

= (4/4) + (4/4)

=4- (4/4)

=4+ (4-4)

=4+ (4/4)

= (4+4)-(4/4)- 4/(4)

= (4+4)- 4/(4)

= 4+4

= (4+4) + (4/4)

= (4+4) + (4/4)+(4/4)

=(4+4) + 4-(4/4)

= (4+4) + 4

=(4+4) + 4 + (4/4)

= (4*4)- (4/4)- (4/4)

=(4*4)- (4/4)

= 4*4

=(4*4) + (4/4)

=(4*4) + (4/4)+ (4/4)

=(4*4) + 4- (4/4)

= (4*4) +4

=(4*4) +4 + (4/4)

=(4*4) +4 + (4/4)+(4/4)

=(4*4)+ (4+4)-(4/4)

=(4*4)+ (4+4)

=(4*4)+ (4+4)+(4/4)

= (4*4)+ (4+4) + (4/4)+(4/4)

= (4*4)+ (4+4) + 4-(4/4)

= (4+4) + 4+ (4*4)

= (4*4)+  (4*4)- 4- (4/4)

= (4*4)+  (4*4) – (4/4)- (4/4)

= (4*4)+  (4*4) – (4/4)
