III. Class 3
A. Participants engage in the Circle investigations
Participants should choose investigations that involve:
- Describing and comparing the concepts and attributes of a circle (e.g. radius, diameter, center, chord, major arc, minor arc)
- Solving problems involving the area and circumference of circles
- Making graphical representations of circles using dynamic geometry software
- Week 3: Choose from recommended investigations focused on circles
B. Participants add write-ups to their online portfolios
C. Continued technological teaching and support (especially with Geometer's Sketchpad and the structure of a write-up)
