A. Prime, Composite, Abundant, Deficient, and Perfect Numbers
Participants should discuss topics:
- Identifying special classes of prime and composite numbers (Mersenne primes, abundant, deficient, perfect, and relatively prime numbers)
- Using the Fundamental Theorem of Arithmetic as it applies to prime and composite numbers
- Using prime factorization of numbers to identify abundant, deficient, and perfect numbers
